What is the Maintenance Productivity Report?

The Office of Administration has begun working with the Maintenance Department and other operational departments to produce and generate a report to quantify the productivity of the department, known as the Maintenance Productivity Report.

Victoria ISD will host an in-person Job Fair on Wednesday, November 10 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., to fill open positions. The Job Fair will take place at the Dr. Robert Jaklich Conference Center location at 2909 Miori. No appointments are needed.

VISD is further along in implementation while being a younger district in SGS program

Entering its third year of the System of Great Schools (SGS) program, Victoria ISD’s progress is looking promising.

Victoria ISD’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) department began Industry-Based Certification testing in October at Career and Technology Institute (CTI) and Victoria East and West High School. 100% of the students who participated in October testing passed their tests to receive their Non-Commissioned Security Officer Level II certification.

Victoria ISD Invitational swim meet held over the weekend

The Victoria ISD Invitational swim meet was held on Friday, Nov. 5 and Saturday, Nov. 6. The event was hosted by the Victoria ISD Aquatic Center with 19 schools competing.

You Make a Difference! - Victoria College

At the Oct. 28 school board meeting, the VISD Board of Trustees awarded Victoria College (VC) with their "You Make a Difference!" award. VC recently partnered with VISD's Liberty Academy Credit Recovery to provide a college prep program opportunity for credit recovery students.

Stroman STEM Academy classes complete "The Día De Los Muertos Project"

Stroman STEM Academy’s 6th-grade English, Language Arts and Reading (ELAR) classes completed “The Día Le Los Muertos Project” on Tuesday, Nov. 2. First place was awarded to Arabella Smith, second place went to Elviz Salazar and third place was Garrett Garcia.
